Week 9 of the challenge was Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.
A nine-year-old amateur inventor, Francophile, and pacifist searches New York City for the lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father, who died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
Andrew read the reviews online and decided he was going to skip this one, so it was just me. I thought it was really good though! Sad at times when they discussed 9/11, especially when playing the audio recordings from his dad and realizing that this was really true for so many people. I can't image how hard that would be. So sad! But overall I really liked it and Andrew missed out!
Just one more left from 2011!
